Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Just purchased at PS3. What kind of HDMI cable do I need? I am planning to get one from walmart.
I dont get why the Sony HDMI Cable w/ USB Cable Pack PS3 is 39.99 … well i guess because it can support USB also.

But all i really need is a HDMI cable for 11.99 right? I mean, does it really matter as the price of the HDMI cable goes up?

I just bought a 26″ sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn’t work.
